Site Manager

In order to support the growth, we are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our Team in Antwerp. The Site Manager is responsible for managing the daily logistics operations to ensure the efficient supply of equipment and spare parts to African countries. This role oversees warehouse activities, coordinates transportation modes, ensures compliance with procedures and regulations while supporting the implementation of cost-effective and timely shipment processes, identifies ways to improve processes and procedures and develop action plans. Your role includes : Supervise and coordinate daily activities of logistics personnel, including warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators ; Distribute work assignments and schedules, monitor activity and progresses, and resolve operational issues as they arise ; Maintain accurate documentation related to shipments, implement and ensure adherence to established logistics processes, procedures, and compliance with company policies and legal and customs regulations ; Collaborate with carriers and internal teams, coordinate transportation of goods using air, sea, road, or rail, ensuring shipments meet deadlines and cost targets, considering urgency of the needs ; Monitor stock levels and rotation to maintain optimal inventory balance—avoiding shortages or excess ; Handle routine importing/exporting processes and assist in troubleshooting more complex or urgent shipment issues ; Assist in organizing invoicing and documentation processes in coordination with local legal and financial departments. Proven experience in Logistics Operations or Warehouse Supervision ; Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team ; Good command of French is required ; Strong organizational and communication skills ; Good understanding of transportation modes and import/export procedures ; Knowledge of local, national, and international shipping regulations ; Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems ; Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively ; 3 years bachelor's degree in Transport & logistics, supply chain, or business administration ; Ideally, 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
